My ultimate desire with my photography is to capture an image no one has ever seen. Fiction is invariably more interesting than reality because it is guaranteed to be new. But when fiction deviates too much from what one is able to understand, that individual can be left lost. These everyday spaces that I photograph sit between day and night, reality and fiction, and become a scene that is both new and familiar. The resulting products revolve between disconcerting, lonely, lively, colorful, cold, geometric, and cinematic.
